Delta Stencil
Stencil Paint creme dried up..can they be saved?
I inherited some stencil paint creme pots. Lovely colors and most never or slightly used. However, it seems that most of the stencil paint creme has dried up.
Does anyone know how and if it is possible to “rejuvenate” these paints so that they can be used? Would seem like such a waste to throw them out.
These paints are “Delta” craft paints and the stencil paint cremes are concentrated, permanent, oil-based color. Would adding a touch of mineral spirits or a wee bit of paint thinner help?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out.
if they are oil-based start by adding 3-4 drops of mineral oil at a time.. use a toothpick or stick to stir .. go slowly its easier to add than to take away.. dont add thinner.. it will break down the paint and become slimy and unusable.
