What are some good questions to put on a book project for fear and loathing in las vegas.?

Im doing a book project on fear and loathing and I need some good questions to ask the class from the book and if you can some vocabulary too. thanks for the help.

The drug use attracts more attention than anything else, maybe ask about how so much of it is a representation of freedom. The author mentions the american dream a lot, which has to do with doing what you want. Rampant consumption of illegal substances during a police convention, is this him exercising freedom, or a sign that there may be too much freedom? Where do you draw the line?
