Acrylic Watercolor
What are the best kinds of watercolor, oil, and acrylic paints?
I am learning to paint and was wondering what are the best paints for beginners up until advance.
I paint watercolors, and I use both Cheap Joe’s and Daniel Smith Professional Watercolors. I started out with Winsor Newton’s Cotman watercolors, but they are very expensive and really tiny tubes. Cheap Joe’s and Daniel Smith both have 15 ml tubes, and Cheap Joe’s also has 37 ml tubes. I buy the 37 ml tubes in the colors I use most often. Daniel Smith offers natural mineral watercolors, along with iridescent and, what they call Duochrome colors. These are iridescent paints that will change color depending on which way the light strikes it. They will also become intensely brilliant when painted on a black background.
